Painting & Planting
Painting a scene and planting grass, weeds and vegetation is a bit of an art form, and a bit of a mess.
TIPS:
Use at least two and preferably three different colors.
Sprinkle on Woodland Scenics Fine Turf – at least two kinds – while the paint is still wet.
Use spray adhesive to plant the Woodland Scenics Coarse Turf – at least two kinds, preferably three.
IMPORTANT: Don’t over think the process. Work fast enough you don’t stress over every detail. Nature is a messy place, remember?
Made a mess? Good! Remember the great outdoors is a messy place. But in this case there’s too much fine turf in the lake bottom. Here’s an easy fix.
Think in terms of layers. So it’s time for the coarse turf on top of the fine turf, which is on top of the handed painted layers, which is on top of the spray painted layers, which is on top of the plaster soaked paper towels and Sculptamold, which is on top of the insulation foam. Did I mention layers?
