Rock outcroppings
A really good three dimensional look on the scene is to have vegetation with rock outcroppings. It’s easy to do with Sculptamold.
TIPS:
You can add the rocks and then add the vegetation. Or you can add the vegetation and then add the rock outcroppings.
My recommendation: Do both! Mix it up. Things look lots of different ways in nature. Your layout should be likewise.
Think layers.
Paint gray and earth colored highlights on the black scene with a brush, add fine turf, coarse turf – in other words finish the landscape of an area. Then add the colored Sculptamold to the area.
